Interactive Art Course for Kids
In The Creative Atelier, kids learn that art is anything they create to show how they see the world. A funny monster, a colorful pattern, a clay animal, or a nature design made from leaves and stones every creation is personal, meaningful, and worth celebrating.
Children explore art using lines, shapes, colors, and textures, while working with paint, crayons, paper, clay, and natural materials. Along the way, they discover how lines can travel, shapes can grow, colors can change moods, and textures can feel smooth, bumpy, rough, or soft.
Each class encourages kids to explore, imagine, and create with confidence. Art becomes a joyful way to use both hands and heart helping children share ideas, feelings, and stories in their own unique way.
The 4-Class Creative Journey:
Class 1: Colors & Shapes
Kids explore how colors interact and how shapes form the foundation of almost every artwork.
Class 2: Famous Painters
We discover well-known artists and styles, learning how different artists see and interpret the world.
Class 3: Drawing People & Animals
Children practice observing and drawing figures and animals, focusing on expression rather than perfection.
Class 4: Sculpture & Texture
Kids work with three-dimensional materials, exploring texture, form, and hands-on creative building.

Big Kids Academy: Creative Atelier FAQ
No prior art experience is needed.
This course focuses on creative expression and exploration, not technical skill or “right” answers.
The Creative Atelier is an exploratory, process-based art experience focused on creativity, imagination, and self-expression rather than formal techniques or art history memorization.
Explore color, shape, line, and texture.
Build confidence expressing ideas through art.
Strengthen fine motor skills and visual thinking.
Learn to observe and interpret the world creatively.
Develop pride in their own unique creations.
The course consists of 4 weekly sessions, each lasting exactly 40 minutes. We have found this to be the perfect "Active Engagement" window long enough to dive deep into nutrition, but short enough to keep every child focused and energized.
To keep our classroom a safe, private, and high-energy space for all children, we do not provide recordings. However, you can log in to our live Zoom sessions from any device, anywhere—so you never have to miss the fun!
We suggest the age range as a guide, but we know that parents know their children best! Our classes are designed so that each age group takes away different levels of understanding. No matter their age, they will learn at their own pace and find something fascinating. If you feel your child is ready to join the course, they are more than welcome.
We want you to feel confident joining the club! We offer a full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before the start date. If after the first session you feel it isn't the right fit, we offer a partial refund of $80. After that point, refunds are no longer available as your child's seat is reserved
