Refund & Cancellation Policy

At BIG Kids Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences for your child. However, we understand that plans change, technical issues happen, and sometimes a course isn't the right fit.
Please read our policy below to understand how we handle refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling.
1. Live Class Cancellations
Because our live classes have limited seating to ensure small group interaction, late cancellations prevent other students from joining.
Customer Cancellations: If you need to cancel a scheduled course, please notify us at least 14 days before the first session start time. You will receive a full refund or a credit to reschedule for a future date.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made 2 weeks of the course start up to anytime before the second session may receive a partial refund of $80.
After the second session begins, tuition becomes non-refundable as the seat for the 4-class session can no longer be filled.
No-Shows: If a student does not attend a scheduled class and does not provide prior notice, no refund or credit will be issued.
Teacher Cancellations: If we must cancel a class due to instructor illness or technical issues on our end, you will be offered a choice of a full refund or a priority reschedule.
2. Gift Cards
Non-Refundable: Gift cards purchased for BIG Kids Academy are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
Expiration: Gift cards remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
3. Technical Issues
Our Issues: If a live class is interrupted due to a technical failure on our platform (e.g., our Zoom account crashes), we will issue a refund or reschedule the class for free.
Your Issues: We are not responsible for technical issues related to your personal internet connection, hardware, or power outages. However, if you miss a class due to a technical emergency, please contact us; we may, at our discretion, offer a recording of the session or a partial credit.
4. Behavioral Dismissal
We prioritize a safe and positive environment for all children.
If a student is removed from a live class due to a violation of our Code of Conduct (e.g., bullying, inappropriate language, or disruption), no refund will be issued for that session or the remainder of the course series.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation, please contact our support team: admissions@bigkidsacademy.com, with the subject line: Refund Request [Order#_____]. Please include your Order Number and the reason for your request. We aim to process all qualifying refund requests within 5–10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
