In Early Coder Studio, kids discover how computers think by learning one powerful skill: giving clear instructions. Through movement, games, patterns, and visual logic, children explore the foundations of coding in a playful, age-appropriate way that feels natural and empowering.
Kids practice sequencing, patterns, and repetition the same thinking skills used by real programmers while building confidence in problem-solving and independent thinking. Concepts come to life through hands-on activities, discussion, and creative challenges that make learning feel like play.
By the end of the course, kids proudly understand how ideas turn into instructions, how steps create outcomes, and how they can design, plan, and create like real coders without needing prior experience or technical skills.
The 4-Class Coding Adventure:
Class 1: What Is Coding?
Kids learn what coding really means and how computers follow instructions exactly as they’re given.
Class 2: Patterns & Sequences
We explore order, sequencing, and patterns the building blocks behind every program and game.
Class 3: Loops & Repeating Actions
Children discover how repeating steps saves time and creates powerful results, just like real coding loops.
Class 4: Create Your First Program
Kids put everything together by planning and building their own simple program using logic, steps, and creativity.

Big Kids Academy: Early Coders FAQ
No prior coding experience is needed, and no computer skills are required.
This course focuses on foundational coding thinking.
Early Coder Studio is an exploratory, concept-based learning experience designed to build strong thinking skills that prepare kids for future coding and technology learning.
Understand how coding works at a conceptual level

Develop early computational thinking skills used across STEM subjects.
The course consists of 4 weekly sessions, each lasting exactly 40 minutes. We have found this to be the perfect "Active Engagement" window long enough to dive deep into nutrition, but short enough to keep every child focused and energized.
To keep our classroom a safe, private, and high-energy space for all children, we do not provide recordings. However, you can log in to our live Zoom sessions from any device, anywhere—so you never have to miss the fun!
We suggest the age range as a guide, but we know that parents know their children best! Our classes are designed so that each age group takes away different levels of understanding. No matter their age, they will learn at their own pace and find something fascinating. If you feel your child is ready to join the course, they are more than welcome.
We want you to feel confident joining the club! We offer a full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before the start date. If after the first session you feel it isn't the right fit, we offer a partial refund of $80. After that point, refunds are no longer available as your child's seat is reserved
